Workshop OverView
The Bonneville Salt Flats are located just outside of Wendover, Utah. I’ll be honest there isn’t much out there and for that reason this workshop will be set up a little differently. I have a BNB booked in Salt Lake City from March 10-12 as well as a hotel room in Wendover on the night of March 11th. The plan is to have the classes during the day on March 11th. Then in the afternoon drive to the Salt Flats for a sunset shoot. After the shoot we will take an hour break to check into our rooms and meet up after for dinner. After dinner we will call it a night. On the morning of March 12 we will meet for sunrise at the Salt Flats for our second shoot. After the shoot we will head back to Salt Lake to wrap up the workshop. Check out the timeline below for a better break down.

“I’ve now taken 2 workshops with Tyler. After multiple workshops with other photographers I’d say there’s really no comparison. Quite honestly, it would be difficult to take anyone else’s workshops following his Zion and Maine adventures.
I think the biggest difference is that Tyler goes out of his way to select the highest quality vendors to work with. The prices are affordable for the amount of work he puts in and the content you are able to take away from the experience. He’s professional and fair in the way he only allows a limited number of people to join each adventure, which tells me he’s not in it just for the money, but purely out of educating others. He’s conscious about the environment while sharing with others during these treks. He always makes sure to follow rules and and prepare permits for his locations so he’s beyond prepared and well experienced unlike others I’ve witnessed.
Tyler also makes sure to carve out time to speak one-on-one with each attendee and he’s gives his all in his answers. He takes time to ask questions and help others understand what is their goal while guiding them into making changes that benefit their business.

“We just got back from our Iceland Expedition and it was such an amazing adventure! It wasn’t your typical workshop as we were doing some off-roading and exploring new places, as well as shooting an elopement couple but he warned us about it in his expedition description which what I was aiming for. Tyler made sure that everyone had their fair share with the couple which I really appreciated. Sometimes other photographers don’t share couples during these things, LOL!
