How it works

  • The first Step to planning your Incredible Elopement is locking in your date! You don't need an exact date in mind to contact me! Just knowing you want to Elope is a great start! We can figure out a date that works for us both and lock it in! If you have a date or general timeline for when you want to Elope that’s great! Having a date will help speed things up but don't wait to reach out!

  • Once you have your Elopement date nailed down it’s time to get people booked! When it comes down to it your Elopement can be simple or more involved. I can get you in touch with all the local Zion vendors you need to make it happen.

  • Now that you are officially booked it’s time to narrow down the locations for your day. I will send you a list of different locations and you can decide which ones you want to go to. From there I’ll craft a custom timeline just for you! Insuring we hit all the spots that mean the most to you.

  • Your Elopement day is all about you as a couple coming together as one. We have done all the busy work now it’s time to enjoy the day. Make sure you take it all in and have fun. You can enjoy every second of the Elopement knowing you can relive it forever with the pictures and video I capture.

“We had the pleasure of working with Tyler for our wedding photos in Escalante, Utah, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Tyler was extremely kind and easy to work with. We're not typically comfortable in front of the camera, but you'd never know that from our photos we looked like models!
Tyler went above and beyond, helping us plan our entire itinerary, including recommendations for where to stay the night before. He even picked us up at the campsite and spent the whole day with us, capturing every moment.
The pictures turned out absolutely stunning, and we now have them displayed on our Frame TV so we can enjoy them every day. Highly recommend Tyler Rye Photography!.”

  • Yes you will need to apply for a permit if you want to exchange your vows inside Zion National Park. It’s a simple process that costs $100 and should be done at least 3 weeks before your Elopement date.

  • I take care of all the location scouting. Once I have a signed contract and deposit we can start the planning process. This starts with me sending you a list of locations to look at and we then work up a timeline based on the spots you like.

  • There isn’t a “bad” time to Elope in Zion. However I think fall and spring are the best times based on weather. The summers get hot and busy while the winters can get surprisingly cold. Regardless of the time of year I’ll help you plan a unique and amazing Elopement.
