Trusted by couples eloping in Zion National Park from around the world

" Beyond his talent, Tyler made the whole experience effortless and fun. He knew exactly how to guide us while letting our personalities shine through, making us feel comfortable.”   - Daniel

The Beauty of Zion

I've lived near Zion my entire life and spent 20+ years photographing elopements across Zion, Bryce, and Kanab. I know the iconic spots you've saved on Instagram, the hidden corners most couples never find, and exactly when the light hits each one.

Zion requires a Special Use Permit for every elopement, and I'll walk you through the application from start to finish so you don't have to stress about the paperwork. If you'd rather skip it entirely, I can secure the permit on your behalf.

Permit Help

Every elopement gets a photography-day plan built around your ceremony, your chosen locations, and the golden-hour light. The goal is a day that feels relaxed and intentional, not rushed, so you can actually be present in the moments that matter.

Custom TImeline

I'll send you a curated list of Zion locations matched to your style, group size, and the light you want, including iconic spots and hidden gems most couples never find on their own. We'll narrow it down together and build the day around your favorites.

What's the permitting process for Zion?

Zion National Park requires a Special Use Permit for all elopements. It's a straightforward application that costs $100 and needs to be submitted at least 21 days before your date. I'll guide you through every step,  and if you'd rather not deal with the paperwork at all, I can secure the permit on your behalf.

When is the best time of year to Elope in Zion?

There isn't really a bad time to elope in Zion, but spring (April–May) and fall (October–November) offer the most comfortable temperatures and the best golden-hour light. Summers can be hot and crowded, and winters can surprise you with cold,  or even a magical dusting of snow on the red rock. Whatever time of year you pick, I'll help you build the timeline around the light and weather so your day feels relaxed.

Are there park regulations or guest limits?

Yes, Zion has a few rules worth knowing upfront. Most ceremony locations cap at smaller groups: the smallest sites allow just a few guests, while the largest (like Temple of Sinawava) can accommodate up to about 50. Amplified music isn't permitted at any site, and things like rice, petals, sparklers, and unenclosed candles aren't allowed for environmental reasons. None of this is a hassle once you know, I walk you through it when we choose your location so there are no surprises on the day.

Do we need to find the locations ourselves?

Not at all, location scouting is part of every package. Once we connect and decide to move forward, I'll send you a curated list of Zion locations matched to your style, group size, and the kind of light you want. We'll narrow it down together and build the timeline around your favorites.

“Tyler is of the best elopment photographers in the world. He did our elopment/mini wedding in Zion and blew our expectations out of the water. They are absolutely stunning. His way of incorporating nature into the picture while still keeping you the main focus is impressive. He is so good at what he does that it inspired me to take up photography and I have hopes to learn from him soon. I wouldn't waste my time looking for anyone else. Just book him, you wont regret it.”

“The shoot turned out better than I could’ve ever imagined. I was so happy for the snow that brought us to this unique shoot in the desert. He has such an incredible eye for landscapes and knows exactly how to find those off-the-beaten-path, picture-perfect destinations for engagement and elopement photos.”

Alyssia Bifano

“We had Tyler take our elopement photos in at two locations- Bonneville Salt Flats and Zion National Park. He scouted for the best areas to capture what we wanted and we couldn’t be happier with the results. He is incredibly talented at what he does and his photos are absolutely stunning. Four years later, we still love looking at our wedding photos. They are simply timeless. Would 1000% hire him all over again. Highly recommend!!”

Colleen Lee

"Beyond the talent, it’s the experience that sets him apart. Zion is an incredible place, but Tyler took it to another level. He knew the light, the landscape, the exact timing to get the most breathtaking shots. He didn’t just take photos; he told our story in a way that felt natural and effortless. Every single image feels like a piece of art, and we honestly can’t stop staring at them.”
