bridals in anchorage alaska
i still cant believe i got to go back to alaska so soon after my trip last sep! this time i went for a wedding in anchorage alaska. well it was supposed to be an elopement, the groom had been living and working in alaska for a few months and they thought it would be a cool place to elope. however as the date got closer the groom decided he had had enough of the cold overcast climate and the couple decided to elope in hawaii! well i had my tickets by then and it was to late to change things so i went to alaska! i reached out to a couple living their in anchorage and set up a shoot! the dress is from the dress theory and the location was a spot called beluga point about 20 mins south of anchorage. this was possibly the windiest session i have ever had and we had to be careful not to get to near the edge of the cliffs. the dress looked amazing in the wind and i love all the movement that can be seen in the images! i would LOVE to go back to alaska and get to shoot a wedding so tell your friends that are considering a destination wedding to check this out! as always i would love to hear what you think of the images i took! i also have to give a quick shot out to blomma desings for showing me around and helping me find cool locations to shoot! blomma designs is a super talented wedding planner baised in anchorage. if you end up getting married their make sure and look her up!
