Zion National Park Workshop

I’m beyond thrilled with how this styled shoot came together. I can’t thank the team enough for all their hard work and dedication to my vision! It was a lot of work but worth it all in the end. This shoot is full of sweet details like a table filled with rocks, a geode cake, an amazing blue dress and lets not forget the epic backdrop of Zion National Park! I truly hope you enjoy this session and are inspired to create! All venders are credited at the bottom of this post check them out if you are planning a wedding here in Southern Utah, you simply can’t go wrong with this team!

Zion National Park is by far one of the most amazing places in the United States! I feel so lucky to have it in my backyard. It has been my pleasure to host wedding photography workshops in and around the park over the last couple of years and I absolutely love it! Most of the photographers that come to my workshop have never been to Zion and are in awe when they get here! Having Zion as a background for my shoots is almost unfair! The striking landscapes and truly epic scale of the locations is unmatched. Take all of that and add in a perfectly styled shoot and you can expect nothing short of magic!

I have had a vision in my head for a while know of a table that could hold sand or dirt allowing me to add in other elements with out the table looking to formal. I wanted to make a truly organic looking shoot. I couldn’t find a table like the one I had in mind so I decided to build one! The table for this wedding shoot is almost like a shadow box laying flat. We filled it will a few inches of the sand we found right in the wash we were shooting at. Once we had the sand in we were able to fill it with crystals, geodes and other cool rocks!

This has been my most shared, most liked and most commented on shoot to date! Thank you all for the support! I would love to hear your thoughts on this shoot and what you love! Make sure and give all the venders involved some love!
