Breathtaking Engagement Session in Cannon Beach

Cannon Beach, Oregon, is hands down one of my absolute favorite places to photograph engagement sessions! There’s something so special about this location that I can’t quite put into words. Maybe it’s because I grew up watching The Goonies, and the place holds a special, nostalgic charm for me. Or maybe it’s just because the beauty of the area is undeniable – either way, I love it! Every time I have the chance to shoot there, I’m reminded of how magical it is.

During this particular engagement session, everything seemed to fall into place perfectly. The weather was absolutely ideal, with clear skies and a gentle breeze that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We were lucky enough to capture endless reflections of the stunning coastline, with the water mirroring the dramatic beauty of Haystack Rock. I can’t get over how breathtaking the reflections were—it was truly a photographer’s dream! I honestly could have sat there for hours just soaking in the view and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.

But what made this session even more incredible was the amazing couple I had the pleasure of working with. They were so in love, so natural in front of the camera, and their chemistry was undeniable. It was such an easy, relaxed session because they truly brought their A-game to the shoot, making my job so much more enjoyable. They were so comfortable with each other, which made capturing their love feel effortless.

Looking at the photos, I couldn’t be more excited about how everything turned out. Cannon Beach has a way of making everything seem even more beautiful through the lens, and this session was no exception. The combination of the perfect weather, the stunning landscape, and the amazing couple made it one of my most memorable shoots. I can't wait for my next opportunity to shoot at this iconic spot—I’ll definitely be back for more unforgettable moments!
