Stunning Destination Wedding at Castell d'Emporda, Spain
I was beyond thrilled when Candice and Steven reached out to me about documenting their destination wedding! It felt like a full-circle moment since we first connected during their adventure engagement session in the Faroe Islands. ( Check out their Faroe Island Engagements here ) We spent several unforgettable days together exploring the rugged beauty of the islands, capturing some truly epic memories along the way. The experience was so special, and I knew that their wedding would be equally incredible.
When it came time to plan their wedding, Candice knew she wanted something unique and unforgettable in Europe, but the exact location was still up in the air. They had a vision of somewhere extraordinary, but they also needed a place that would be accessible to all their loved ones. After a bit of back-and-forth, they finally settled on the stunning Castell d'Emporda in Northern Spain, and I couldn’t have been more excited for them!
Castell d'Emporda is a breathtaking venue, perched on a hilltop that offers sweeping views of the surrounding fields and countryside. As soon as I arrived, I was in awe of the beauty of the place. The castle itself is an elegant and historic structure, with a timeless charm that perfectly suited Candice and Steven’s vision for their wedding day. What truly made it magical, though, was the grove of olive trees that surrounded the venue, adding a rustic and romantic touch to the atmosphere.
The setting was simply perfect for a destination wedding – intimate, serene, and rich in natural beauty. The combination of the castle’s majestic architecture and the scenic landscape provided an incredible backdrop for their vows, and it was such an honor to be there to document their love story.
