Insane Utah Elopement at Long Dong Silver Spire

For my recent Elopement in Utah, my couple and I hiked to Long Dong Silver Spire, (aka Dark Spire) a stunning and secluded location. Yes it's actually called that! ha This unique spire juts out of a hill, creating a breathtaking backdrop for our photos.

I have wanted to shoot at this location for years, and it did not disappoint. The rugged beauty of the landscape and the sense of adventure made for an unforgettable experience.

As a photographer specializing in elopements in Zion National Park, I am always on the lookout for unique and breathtaking locations to capture the love and connection between couples. Long Dong Silver Spire in Utah is definitely a hidden gem worth exploring for any adventurous couple looking for a truly unforgettable elopement experience.

Eloping in Utah gives couples the freedom to write their own story—and Long Dong Silver is one of those hidden gems that makes that story unforgettable. With its dramatic desert cliffs, golden light, and wild, open spaces, it offers the perfect setting for couples who want to keep things real, raw, and deeply personal. Whether you're hiking into the backcountry or saying your vows beneath towering rock walls, the landscape adds emotion and depth to every moment.

As a Utah elopement photographer, I’m always looking for locations that break the mold—and this spot definitely delivers. It’s quiet, a little off the radar, and packed with character. I love helping couples discover places like this and capturing the kind of imagery that feels cinematic yet true to who they are.

If you're dreaming of an adventurous elopement in Utah and want to work with someone who knows the land, the light, and how to tell your story authentically—I’d love to be part of your journey. Whether it’s the desert, the mountains, or somewhere totally unexpected, I’ll help you plan and document an elopement that’s as meaningful as it is beautiful. Let’s start planning your adventure.
