italy destination wedding

shooting a destination wedding in italy was amazing!! i'm truly grateful for my clients and the opportunity i had to go and be part of something so special. the wedding was held in southern italy in a costal town called sapri a few hours south of the amalfi coast. its pretty far off the beaten path but so worth the effort to get there. while i was in italy i did three different shoots with this bride and groom. a couple days before their destination wedding we meet up in amalfi and hired a boat to take us out to sea. after the boat ride we shot around town for a bit and found some really cool places. the second shoot we did was at the ceremony location the night before. they got married on the rocks over looking the ocean at a place called “lovers walk” it was breath taking. the last session was the wedding day which found is traveling to a small town called maratea. its a gorgeous little town full of old houses and fun little shops. its what you think of when you picture italy. we shot walked around town taking portraits and then headed back to sapri for the wedding. on the way back we saw a watch tower on the side of the road and decided to hike up there quickly for some portraits. i'm so glad we did! those are some of my favorite shots from my trip. italy was everything i imagined it to be and would go back in a heart beat. thank you so much to christine and matt for making this happen and trusting me to fly across the world to take your wedding pictures!
